HIT THE SPOT –
a consolidated landscape surrounded by gardens with large trees, located in the city of madrid, is the lucky starting point for this house.
a piece of metallic nature, horizontal, producing the effect of having a single plant. it contrasts and is mimicked by its proportion and materiality with the tall trees surrounding it.
the scale of the house is moderated thanks to understanding the day zone as a zocalo that emerges with the same natural stone that urbaniza part of the plot. on this basis the area is deposited at night, focusing the views to the north and south, protecting themselves from the neighboring views, generating terraces in shade in which to enjoy the outside.
a substantially square plant is drawn, which agglutinates an ample program of compact form. the staircase and the inner atrium centered distribute the rooms, hierarchizing uses, with all the spaces opening to the garden.
